Lot’s of people in the essential oil world love to have Make-and-Take party’s at their homes. This is a great way to introduce essential oils to people who might not be familiar with them. You can make hand sanitizers, potpourri, candles, soap, etc. And just recently a few of the ladies in my doTERRA group started calling these parties, DIY Parties. They found that almost everyone loved DIY ( do-it-yourself ) ideas and this was a better known term than a Make-and-Take party. So, what can one expect when you are invited to one of these fun events? A ton of hands-on recipes that you can make for friends, or keep for yourself. It just depends on what options the hostess of the party wants to focus on, but some of the things might be our Play Dough for the kids of all ages in your life, a Sugar Scrub for your entire body while you shower, or maybe even a Festive Body Spray. ~ The first party of this kind that I attended a few years ago had three items that we could make and take home. There was cinnamon flavored toothpicks, a seaweed and Peppermint oil body scrub, and a Motivate roller ball bottle that was diluted with our fractionated coconut oil. Twenty bucks got you all three items, including the bottles and the tin container. That was a great deal and I used all three of those products quickly. ~ For more ideas about how you can make your own DIY items using doTERRA’s oils, go to my website at: www.mydoterra.com/janatzinberg and go to the Do It Yourself tab at the top of the page, above my picture, and click on it. A whole page of DIY recipes and ideas will flood your screen. You can also just Google ‘doTERRA DIY’ and more options will appear!
Have a fun day! Jana
