My left foot has become a real pain in the butt for me over the past couple of years. I’ve written about it before and talked about the different targets I’ve had to address, like bruising on my bone, sore ankles, toenail cracks, etc. I’ve always found support for all of these things by using my essential oils and for the past few months things have been just fine. But a few weeks ago I noticed a small hardness forming on the bottom of my foot, right in the center of the ball of my foot. When I pressed on it it felt sore and I immediately thought it was something going on with a bone in there. But after a few days of babying it and reading up on that part of my foot, I realized it was just a hard callus forming, probably because of friction. I hike a lot, plus I cycle, so that part of my foot takes a real beating and apparently it decided to act out in the form of a callus. Anyway, I started to use my Cypress oil and I’ve got to say, if you want to slough off thick skin, this essential oil will do the trick! By just rubbing the spot a couple times a day, especially after a shower, you can get rid of most unwanted dense skin pretty quickly. ~ Some of the other doTERRA essential oils I would recommend for this same thing are: Roman Chamomile, Siberian Fir, Oregano, and our HDClear blend. Some people have said that any citrus oil works well too so try those out if you have them handy. Getting rid of dry, thick skin on joints and other areas can be painless and simple when you use the gifts that Mother Nature offers. Have a great day! Jana
