This morning I left my house at 7:15 and drove down the hill to my favorite hiking trail, Cowles mountain. I put Peppermint oil all over my feet before I left and I wore Wild Orange on my body. The Wild Orange was for me and my psyche, it keeps me uplifted and motivated. The Peppermint on my feet was to keep my feet cool and to avoid blisters. I decided to hike up the front of the mountain and check it out since they overhauled the trail about a month ago. I usually hike the back of the mountain because it’s a harder workout, at least for me. Anyway, the trail looks great, they smoothed out all the ruts and added a lot more railings so you could clearly see which way was the right way to go. And in the narrow places they made the trail a bit wider. As I was walking up I would pass other hikers coming down and after some of them passed I could hear people commenting on the smell of oranges…was there an orange tree around somewhere?? It made me smile because this scent in particular is a very happy scent. People just love it. And then I started remembering when I first got to smell all the oils, it was a pretty overwhelming feeling, and one that changed everything for me. Overnight I became an essential oil addict and now I want to share this information with everyone who holds a similar interest. If you have been reading my blog but have never reached out to contact me, don’t hesitate because you’re scared or nervous. I have conversations all the time with people who I’ve never met and who I probably will never meet. But the beautiful thing about these oils and this alternative way to healthcare is that it is so simple to incorporate them into your own life. It can seem overwhelming, but march past that fear and drop me a line. I want to share what I’ve learned with anyone who is interested. I want to infect you with my passion for these oils!
Have a great day! Jana
