How true is that statement? I belong to an online group right now and we talk about all kinds of things and last night one of the gals in the group was talking about how she attended a work conference and included in the program was all-you-could-eat lunches. She described the spread as having massive amounts of cold cuts, breads and pastries, cheeses, fruits and veggies, a prime rib and turkey carving station, a pasta station, desserts galore, plus a drink area. She said there was so much food that everyone basically ate themselves into a coma because it was free and people just can’t seem to turn away from free stuff. The problem is that if we partake in these options then we have to balance it out by exercising so we don’t pack on the pounds. And sometimes people have a hard time finding the time to do this. Anyway, my point is to draw attention to the decisions that we can make for ourselves so we don’t get frustrated and blow our personal goals out of the water when we’re faced with temptation. Being involved in doTERRA has been a blessing in so many areas for me and I share what I’ve learned with people all of the time. One of the things that has worked for me has been the ability to use some of our oils and products daily so I can manage temptation when it comes before me. If I know I’m going to be in a situation where there are a lot of food choices, I take a Slim & Sassy softgel before I go. This helps to manage cravings in a natural way. I’ve also mixed up a glass of our TerraGreens drink mixture to help fill me up with low calorie nutrition so I’m not so tempted to splurge when I arrive at these events. These are just a couple of the options that I use but there are so many more I can share. If this topic is one that you’d like more info on, reach out to me and we can chat by phone, text, or email. I’m always available and look forward to passing on what I’ve learned!
Have a great day! Jana
