The other day I came out of a local warehouse store and got that deep punch of fear in my belly… where was my truck?? I walked down aisle after aisle in the parking lot, getting more and more anxious as I went. The thoughts racing through my mind were the normal ones when you think your cars been stolen… what was in my truck? Anything important? Cell phone… no, it was in my purse… After about ten minutes of this my mind cleared out like a fog evaporating when the sun hits it… my truck was safe at home. I was driving my moms car because I had just come from getting a smog check on it. Jeez… what a crazy feeling it is to think one thing and not have the reality hit you for so long. Anyway, as I unloaded my cart into my moms trunk I started thinking about our minds and how trained they become when you do the same things repeatedly.
