There’s a cowboy out in Oklahoma who started sharing his country cooking on YouTube awhile ago and I found him a few months ago by chance. I was searching online for some comfort food recipes and one of Kent’s recipes popped up… his 3-Meat Hash. I watched the video and immediately wrote the ingredients on a list for the store. I followed the recipe to the letter even though I wasn’t too sure about the Chorizo as an ingredient. I haven’t been a big fan of Chorizo but I figured I’d better follow Kent’s lead on this because he won a segment of the TV show, Cutthroat Kitchen, with this recipe so I thought I’d better just do as he said. Well, I did, and the hash is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Since then I have made it over ten times and I always have the ingredients in my kitchen so I can fire it up when my stomach calls for it. Another thing that is great is that I can use a lot of my doTERRA essential oils as flavorings and to take the place of some spices like Black Pepper, Oregano, Thyme, Cilantro, Coriander, and Basil in some of these recipes. Lemon and Lime oils come in handy a lot of times too. ~ Find Kent and his many recipes by going to www.KentRollins.com You can link onto his YouTube channel here, plus learn all about Kent and his story. He’s a great guy and his wife, Shannon, is very much a part of the production too, making it a fun adventure every time you tune in. ~ Other favorite recipes are: the Chicken and Dumplings, Smothered Steak, the Sausage Breakfast Casserole, the Cowboy Chili, and almost 200 other delicious recipes. Pick what looks good to you and fire it up for friends and family… you will be very popular when you share these recipes!
Have a great day! Jana
