I know, I know… most everybody out there believes you cannot safely use essential oils in your cooking. I am here to tell you that you can if you are using a pure brand of oils that don’t have any fillers, synthetics or additives of any kind in them. The brand of oils I use and share can be enjoyed in all kinds of foods that you enjoy making, like cookies, brownies, guacamole, pasta, chicken, meat dishes, etc. I have been teaching people for the last few months how to easily add in the oils to their cooking for extra flavor and zip, or to completely substitute an ingredient in a dish. For example; how many of you use a real lime when you are flavoring guacamole? If you just use one drop of our Lime essential oil in your batch of guacamole you will experience the pure lime flavor without buying an expensive lime. And if you like to put a lime wedge in your beer for flavor, try one drop of Lime essential oil instead. It is wonderful and refreshing and tastes great! – I have a tomato, basil, garlic pasta that I make all the time and I buy one small clutch of real basil for the color in the dish but I always add just one drop of our Basil oil in the tomato mixture as it’s simmering so I get a big punch of flavor. Basil is costly so this is a great way to cut corners without losing out on flavor. – Along with the classes I already teach, I will be starting to teach this month some classes in my own kitchen using essential oils in simple, everyday dishes.
