I’m on a diet. Not something I want to be doing but I saw a need to change my ways awhile ago and now is the time to address it. ( I touched on this in a recent blog ) Eight pounds gained is not that much… my pants still fit and I pretty much look the same, but the way I FEEL is why I decided to make some changes. A few weeks ago I made a YouTube video on my channel that talked about digestive support and during it I held up a jug of chocolate covered raisins that have become my Achilles Heel. This is the one thing that I crave above anything else and it’s become a real issue for me. Since I’ve talked about this before I won’t linger on it but I recently decided that I need to focus on everything that’s going in my mouth until I drop these eight unwanted pounds. ( and beyond that if I’m being truthful ) I decided to only eat carbs in the mornings and to focus on clean eating the rest of the day. I went to the local market and picked up a ton of veggies and fruits, some nuts, and some fish options. And the best thing, my neighbor has been giving me access to pick berries and tomatoes, which are nature’s candy, at his property from here on out. I’ve found that when I eat certain fruits and vegetables it takes the place of sweets and satisfies my cravings right away. This has been a game changer for me and I am feeling the results already. ~ I’m also trying to drink water, one ounce per pound of body weight, every day, and to make that more enjoyable I add a few drops of doTERRA’s Lemon oil or our Slim & Sassy blend into the water which adds flavor and many natural benefits as well. ~ If you’d like to talk about any of this, feel free to contact me at any time… I’m here to share!
