It’s that time of year again and so many people are feeling stressed about what to give out as presents this year. So many options are out there but most people are feeling the financial pinch and have no idea how they are going to give gifts to everyone on their list. Well, I’ve got a few ideas for you that will not have you racking up credit card debt or draining your bank account. All you are going to need are a few doTERRA oils and some materials you can find at your local store. ~ The first gift idea is homemade fudge with a twist. Any recipe of fudge will do but before you put it into the refrigerator to set, add one drop of Peppermint, Wild Orange, Cassia, or Lavender oil into the fudge mixture and stir it in. You will only need one drop as the oil is very concentrated. After the fudge sets up, cut into small squares and arrange on a gift plate. People will LOVE this! ( you can also do this with brownie mix! ) ~ Another popular gift idea is to get a bunch of Epsom Salt and a few glass jars with lids from a craft store. Put about 4 cups of the salt in a bowl and add in 5 to 7 drops of your favorite essential oil to scent it. Add a few sprigs of a lavender branch, or herb sprigs, stir and put into the jars. Decorate with ribbon or whatever you want and give out as a gift. ~ The most popular gift idea is homemade potpourri. Go to any dollar store or craft store and buy a few bags of unscented potpourri. Buy a few inexpensive decorative bowls or jars and some ribbon pieces. Put the potpourri in the bowls and add in a few drops of any essential oil. Stir and decorate the container, then give out as gifts. This gift lasts all year because more oil can be added as the scent evaporates. And you can constantly change the scent as you please. ~ I have many other gift ideas so if you have questions, ask away!
Have a great day! Jana
