Eucalyptus essential oil isn’t the first oil you might reach for when it comes to your skin because doTERRA has so many other options but it is one oil that can be supportive. If you check out the history of Eucalyptus oil you will find that all kinds of people, all over the world, have chosen this oil when it comes to certain targets, like blemishes, tone, soreness, etc. The story I want to focus on today comes from a friend who had been doing a lot of yard work at her home and had gotten some sort of rash-like condition on her upper back area. At first she didn’t notice it but when it started to itch and she reached to scratch the area it became very sensitive afterwards. She has all of doTERRA’s oils in her home so she applied all the usual ones like Tea Tree and Lavender, but when that only calmed the skin a little she decided to get out her Eucalyptus oil. After all, her friends in Australia always shared stories about the skin and the benefits of this oil. She rubbed a little bit of the oil, undiluted, right over the affected area and let it air dry before she put her shirt on. By doing this a few times a day she noticed a quick end to her concern. And once again she was so grateful to have the oils in her home as you just never know which one you may want at any time. ~ Eucalyptus oil can be applied right on your skin but if you have a sensitivity concern I would dilute the oil with a carrier oil. ( like our Fractionated Coconut oil or EVOO ) Most of the time slight skin irritations can be supported with the application of our oils so research this topic right on this website or reach out to me directly.
Have a great day! Jana
