I know what this phrase means, do you? Follow your bliss simply means to do something in life that you feel passionate about. Many years ago, the scholar, Joseph Campbell, coined the phrase and went on to describe it this way: ‘If you follow your bliss, you put yourself on a kind of track that has been there all the while, waiting for you, and the life that you ought to be living is the one you are living. Wherever you are – if you are following your bliss, you are enjoying that refreshment, that life within you, all the time.’ How beautiful is that? I actually feel this way, every day, about what I do. The people I spend time with are all people like me for the most part. We all love to share doTERRA’s essential oils and products with others and we love it because it’s always a positive experience. Not too many people feel this way, but one inspirational woman I met through the web is living in her bliss daily and I want to share her with all of you today. ~ Captain Liz Clark has been sailing a 40 ft. sailboat around the world for the past 12 years. She’s doing this alone, in fierce weather, with long voyages and sometimes facing dangerous situations. She has been writing and videotaping her entire journey and it’s really a remarkable story. I have spent at least 3 hours watching some of the videos and her story just swept me up. To do something out of the norm, to be fearless in the pursuit of it, well, that takes real gumption, and this girl has plenty. ~ Please check her out at: www.swellvoyage.com ~ If you are following your own bliss and would like to share your story, contact me by email or give me a call. I’d love to hear from you!
Have a great day! Jana
