There are over 100 essential oils to choose from and if you’re picking an oil for the scent of it, Galbanum oil probably won’t be your first choice. The reason I say this is because Galbanum oil has a scent like a root plant. Think radish, or turnips… very interesting but not one you would use alone as a perfume or diffuser scent most likely. It can be blended with other oils, including those within the citrus, wood, resin, earth, and herbaceous categories. A lot of people use Galbanum oil during meditation and prayer time, plus it can be added to similar oils to help support emotions and moods when needed. ~ Some of the other uses for this oil are to benefit the skin in many ways. It can be diluted for sensitive skin or used as is. If you happen to experience a cut you might want to reach for this oil, and it can also be beneficial if your muscles and joints are needing some natural TLC. You can support the digestive system by applying over the tummy and abdomen area, and it can support your poor appetite if needed. And another popular use for this oil is for the respiratory system. Applying the oil under your nostrils, over your chest, and diffused in a room you are relaxing or working in can be supportive as well. ~ doTERRA has an oil for almost everything and since I’ve been working with them for almost ten years now, I can honestly say that I always reach for an essential oil first before I reach for anything else when targets come up. I’d love to share more with you, in deeper detail, if you are new to oils or even a pro. There is a lot of information to go over and if you don’t know much about doTERRA’s oils, give me a call!
