Early this week I had to bury a pet that had been in my family for 17 years. For the past few months we could see that he was moving toward the end of his life and when he finally passed on we were prepared. Our pet, Peanut, was a Bearded Dragon that we had adopted when he was just a newborn. My son was 5 years old and this was his first pet. I remember feeling overwhelmed bringing this fragile reptile home, so unsure of how to care for him and loaded down with instructions from the pet store owner. I was also told that his life expectancy was about 7 to 8 years, if we were lucky and if he stayed healthy. Well, I’ve got to say, over the years I changed his eating routine, lighting conditions, and just about everything to suit what I believed worked best and he out lived most Beardies on record. The reason for this post is to talk about following your instincts and doing what you feel is right from your gut. We know more than we think we do and listening to our feelings can sometimes steer you right where you need to go. And this brings up our healthcare choices. If you are taking a certain supplement for something that you want support with but the supplement is causing you to have digestive discomfort you might look for an alternative even if others tell you to wait it out. If something isn’t working for you and you feel strongly about changing it, listen to your body. And in this day and age there are many options that may benefit you in a more natural, gentle way. And that’s where I come in… if essential oils have had you curious about them, now is the time to contact me for detailed information. I have a lot to share and all it takes is for you to reach out to me.
I’ll look forward to hearing from you! Jana
