Yesterday morning my cell phone went off at about 6am. It was my friend in Utah asking me if I could do a quick Facebook Live video. doTERRA had a flash sale going on, and Dave wanted me to highlight one of the oils being offered, Cassia. I was happy to do it, I love Cassia, but I had never done a FB live video before. I got a quick verbal demo from Dave and then I was on my own, winging it just like I do on my YouTube Channel. It turned out fine and everyone was happy, but it made me want to talk about Cassia on here today because there are actually some very good uses for it that are not that well known. The first use is by simply touching a tiny bit of this oil right on your tongue as a breath freshener. It tastes like a cinnamon apple pie, kinda hard to explain, but it’s delicious! Using it in this way, or by adding a drop in a glass of drinking water, can help to naturally suppress your appetite too. ~ You can also get some unscented potpourri and put it in a decorative bowl, then add a few drops of Cassia oil on the potpourri and stir it around with your fingers. Your whole room will smell wonderful in seconds! ~ Another fun use is to roll about 20 wood toothpicks in a small amount of the Cassia oil, put them in a snack baggie overnight, then let air dry. Place the toothpicks in a small tin with a lid and use them and offer them to friends when needed. The Cinnamon taste will make using them so much more fun and enjoyable. ~ For more information about this essential oil, go to the Search window at the top right of this page and type in CASSIA. Learning new things about this oil is fun!
Have a great day! Jana
