There are a few essential oils that seem to be everyone’s favorite, and Lime oil is one of them. I talk about it a lot, how great it is to add to your drinking water for a beneficial pick-me-up, a natural breath freshener, and an energy booster, but there are so many more uses for this oil. One of my readers recently wrote in to tell me how she uses Lime oil every day and I thought it was good enough to share. This gal takes a bottle of the oil in her shower with her and after she bathes she turns off the water and sits on the bottom of the tub and applies the Lime oil in a massage-like manner to her feet and ankles, breaking up the hard, calloused skin that forms over time. Because she does this every day she has no buildup anymore and even the small veins on her feet have seemed to disappear. Lime oil has been known to help circulation and goes back hundreds of years as a tonic for the skin. The reader who wrote in said she was initially wanting to use another more expensive oil but her research directed her to the Lime oil instead. All of the citrus oils are very inexpensive because it is so easy to distill the oil from the rind of the fruit. The oil company I work with prices their oils out by the degree of effort it takes to extract the oil so it is a very fair process. I was happy to see that this woman who wrote in was able to do her own research and come up with an affordable option. ~ If you would like to know more about the company or the oils themselves, contact me directly!
Have a great day! Jana
