This morning I’ll continue on from yesterdays blog because there seems to be a lot of interest in how to use doTERRA’s oils by some new users. The first question I’ll address is this one: ‘Which oils are safe to use in my cooking?’ The answer is; so many! I use Oregano oil all of the time to substitute for the herb. I also use Thyme, Rosemary, Corriander, Basil, Ginger, Black Pepper, and Lime frequently, but there are more than just these that you can use. Just remember that you won’t need a full drop of the oil in most uses… you can soak a wood toothpick in the bottle and then use it to stir in your recipe. You will be able to go on your own taste buds to determine when enough is enough. ~ ‘Which oils can I use on my skin for blemishes and dryness?’ You can use Lavender and Melaleuca to support skin that has occasional blemishes, plus our HD Clear blend. I’ve seen so many positive results after people start on a regimen with these. For dry skin I would recommend putting one drop of our Yarrow/Pom oil into a dollop of our Hydrating Cream and applying it on the areas of concern. Our Hand and Body Lotion is also another winner and is very hydrating to the skin, plus our new Hydrating Body Mist is amazing as well. ~ ‘I have a dog and a horse, can I use doTERRA’s oils for their certain cares as well?’ Yes, a lot of our oils and products can be safely used on your pets. It depends on the size of the animal, age, issue, etc., but a lot of our oils are used in animal care now with a lot of benefits achieved. For more info on this, please contact me directly, it’s a broad subject! ~ These are all just examples but are not the only options you have. I try to keep my blogs short so if you have anything you want to add, or have questions, let me know… I always get back to everyone!
Have a great day! Jana
