There is a japanese restaurant in my town that I go to a lot. I love the food there and I usually order an ice tea with my meal. The last 2 times I have eaten there I have forgotten to put my Stevia packets ( a natural sugar replacement) in my purse and this is a real bummer because they only have those pink packets of fake sugar and I can’t stand the taste of those….it tastes like pure chemicals. So this last time I was there and had this happen, I realized that I have essential oils that can liven up a drink and even sweeten it up in some cases. You could use any of the citrus oils to add a little zing, and you could even try some of the other oils that might not pop into your mind as a flavor enhancer. Like Basil oil. Now, I wouldn’t have necessarily thought of Basil myself, but a reader swears by it in her hot teas. A lot of people put a drop of our Wintergreen oil in their teas as well. And I have always liked putting our Metabolic blend in my ice tea because I just love the flavor this blend brings. Cassia is another favorite for a lot of people and I have to agree…I put a drop on my tongue sometimes and it is instant happiness; like taking a bite out of an apple pie. Who wouldn’t love that? And Peppermint oil is a great one to put in your drinking water especially while exercising. It gives a bit of an energy boost and is light and refreshing. And remember, all of the citrus oils are great for fat burning and detoxing. If you could just get in the habit of incorporating them into your lives, you would definately see and feel the benefits. Since I started sharing these oils with people I have never had anyone return an oil, and that speaks volumes. And the other thing to think about is this; The oil company I am involved in is the only essential oil company who doesn’t add synthetics or fillers to their oils. They are totally pure and can be ingested safely, with no side effects…and that is the best information we could have hoped for.
Have a great day! Jana
