Have you ever had a job where your working environment was filled with loud noise on a daily basis? This can take a real toll on a person and it can be physically and mentally draining at the same time. Years ago I wrote about a man who worked on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier. Not only was this a very dangerous job, it was noisy all the time, requiring ear plugs and headphones at all times. When this man returned to his room after his work day, it would take him hours to decompress and be able to fully relax. For those of you who work in similar circumstances, where noise pollution is a factor, I’ve got some essential oils that can help you fast-track your relaxation time. My favorite oils to use in these cases are the Serenity blend, our Balance blend, and the Peace blend. The single oils I recommend are the Wild Orange, Ylang Ylang, Clary Sage, White Fir, and Geranium. Since we are all different, you might find your own favorite in the many doTERRA oils that are available. If you live close by to me, I am always available to get together for a consult where you can smell the oils for yourself, experiencing your own natural reactions to them. Just send me an email or give me a call and we can plan a meeting, one of my favorite things to do. ~ You can diffuse our oils in a room you are relaxing in, and you can also apply any of them topically to pulse points, on the bottom of your feet, and on the back of your neck. As you move about, the scent of the oils will waft through your respiratory system, calming and soothing you. This is a natural way to decompress after a hard days work.
Have a great day! Jana
