Today marks one month since I fell and hit my head, landing me in the ER. I’ve been an excellent patient and have done everything the doctor told me, taking this really seriously. I haven’t even gone up my mountain because I know how much vibration the descent would be and I don’t think my brain is ready for it yet. After a head injury you get to know your body better than you ever have before, and you listen to what it tells you. Anyway, enough patting myself on the back… let me tell you how I blew it the past 2 days. ~ Over the weekend I went to a charity event with 300 other people and the entertainment was comedy and it was hysterical. The downside was that the noise, and my laughter, for well over an hour, was way too much for my punchy brain to handle. When I got home I had head tension so I put PastTense all over my temples and went to bed. The next morning I got up early and went out to my parents facility and loaded my truck and a friends with the last of the belongings for me to store. There was a lot of heavy lifting, then a long drive, and then unloading. What a fool… I basically unraveled all the good I had done and will probably have to start over. This doesn’t make me happy but I’ll recognize it for the learning experience it was. The shining light though is that I have a collection of essential oils and products that can help the soothing process go faster. As I said before, using our Frankincense and Copaiba oils over the spine, the back of the neck, and on the forehead enables the oils to absorb quickly right into the area affected. You basically want to get the oils as close to the area as possible. ~ I’ve learned my lesson and I hope if you ever experience a similar event that you’ll contact me for any oil support I can share. I’m always available and I always answer everyone back!
Have a great day! Jana
