One of the essential oils that I love, but don’t use every single day, is Marjoram oil. I used to use this oil daily when I was concentrating on my cardiovascular system because the support it lends is well known, but now I reach for it for several other things when needed. One of those things is creating a calming, restful environment when diffused in the air in a room you are relaxing in. Marjoram mixes really well with Lavender, Manuka, Rosemary, Siberian Fir, and Ylang Ylang oils so you can easily make your own diffuser blends whenever you want to. A lot of people use this oil before bedtime by putting a small amount over pulse points and on the bottom of the feet. The scent of this oil is relaxing and pleasing to almost everyone, including pets. ~ Some of the other popular uses are using it to ease head and neck tension by massaging it into the affected area for about 20 seconds. The warmth from your fingertips will help to drive the oil deeper into your tissues allowing the oil to create a soothing experience. And if you are a person who is affected by joint discomfort in the hands or any other area, Marjoram oil is a wonderful essential oil to have at the ready when needed. Another use is for people who may need support for some unpopular digestive targets. Because doTERRA’s oils are pure oils with no additives or synthetics added in, a lot of our oils can be taken internally. By putting 2 to 3 drops of Marjoram oil in a gel capsule and swallowing with a 6 oz glass of water, you will experience nature at it’s best.
