Too much of anything can be a bad thing and I’ve had my own experiences with ‘overexposure’ to a few things in my lifetime. Just recently I had to learn to not turn my TV to certain channels when it was turned on. What’s the point of biased, vague news? I also had to recognize and admit that I have an ‘addiction’ to a certain fruit that would normally be considered healthy, but the way I ingest it, covered in milk chocolate, might outweigh the positive health benefits. ( didn’t someone, somewhere, once say that chocolate was healthy for you? ) I also gave up a favorite beverage, red wine, almost 2 years ago, YAY ME!, that became a slight problem that I needed to address. Overexposure to anything might get in the way of your daily goals, but today I want to focus on our exposure to the sun and how that can be a negative thing if you can’t get away from it. ~ People who have jobs that require them to work outdoors; like gardeners, roofers, construction people, lifeguards, etc., all have to think about covering their skin with something that is protective, and hopefully a safe, healthy option. doTERRA has a few essential oils that can be super supportive for exposed skin, like Frankincense, Helichrysum, Lavender, Immortelle, and Peppermint. Plus, we also have several skin care creams that can be used like our Hydrating Cream, Body Butter, Yarrow/Pom Serum, Hand & Body Lotion – which you can personalize with a favorite oil for extra benefits and fragrance, and the Rose Touch oil. Topically, all of these can become just what your skin craves, so just pick your favorite and apply in the recommended way. For specific applications please contact me and I’ll walk you through the oils that will benefit you the most!
Have a great day! Jana
