Today I’m going to focus on Pink Pepper essential oil because I really haven’t since it came out. I’ve actually been using this oil daily for the past few weeks and I’m loving having it added to my routine because it has so many benefits for our bodies. First off, Pink Pepper is not in the Black Pepper family. People assume it is because it looks just like a black peppercorn, except it’s pink. Pink Pepper is closely related to cashews, if you can believe that. Crazy, I know! Anyway, this oil is steam distilled from the peppercorn and is used for a variety of things, including: immune system support, healthy metabolism support, is calming to the nervous system, supports the digestive, circulatory, and respiratory systems, and can support the body through seasonal targets. Pink Peppercorn oil can also be a great flavoring for food, it can help soothe gas and bloating in the body, it can help soothe nausea, and it can relieve muscle and joint tension. It also makes a great, natural pest repellent, plus it can help people with weight management concerns. And another popular use is by using it to help cleanse the body by taking it internally in a gel capsule or just adding a drop or two to your favorite beverage. ~ Another way to use this oil is to rub it over your neck when you are experiencing coughing. The oil absorbs into the tissues and relaxes the area, causing the body to rest from the spasms. This oil can be applied straight from the bottle to the skin, but I would suggest diluting it with a carrier oil if you are new to rubbing it on your skin. You might have sensitive skin so being careful at first is a good idea. ~ If you’d like more details about Pink Pepper oil, contact me directly!
