Some of the emails I get from people are really interesting.. and some make me answer back immediately. Take the one I got recently from Dana who wrote to me asking if I had any advice on how to help her enjoy drinking water; you know, just good-ole H2O. Turns out, Dana had realized that she was pretty dehydrated and that she had been this way for awhile. She told me she never drank just plain water, she drank sodas and coffee and teas thinking that these had enough water to sustain her. Well, no… and unbelievably this is not the first time I’ve heard about this or written about it on this blog. I’ve talked to several people who told me their ‘systems’ were so slow that they only ‘worked’ once or twice a week. Can you imagine?? Ugh, anyway, let me share with you what I told her… first, get a citrus oil that you’d like the taste of; maybe Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit, or Wild Orange. Pour an 8oz glass of water, add 2 to 4 drops of any oil to it, and sip away. I guarantee you that you will enjoy drinking the water from here on out, and it will help your body to become hydrated again which is so important for our health. ~ Another favorite among doTERRA users is our Slim & Sassy blend. This oil blend has Grapefruit, Lemon, Peppermint, Ginger, and Cinnamon essential oils in it and it tastes Great! So, not only are you getting the water you need, you’re also having a delicious experience that you didn’t know about before. And another quick note… add a drop of Peppermint oil to a bottle of water before you go to the gym or workout. The oil adds a freshness to your mouth, will naturally energize you, and it’s good for your body!
