I received a great email from a woman who is in her late 50’s and about to be married for the second time in her life. She was having a larger wedding than her first and was a little nervous because she knew people were going to be looking at her hands because she had a big, beautiful engagement ring on it. She felt a little self conscious about the way her hands looked.. she felt that all the sun and weather abuse had aged her hands too early. She wanted to know what oils or creams I might suggest to help soothe her skin a little bit. It just so happens that you can make a great softening skin cream by mixing our hand cream, which is unscented, and 2 drops of Lavender and 1 drop of Helichrysum into it and then applying all over the surface of the hands. Lavender and Helichrysum oils are wonderful for the skin and if you use them consistently, you will see results quickly. Myrrh, Geranium, our anti-aging blend, and Melaleuca are also good oils for the skin. You can even try soaking your hands in a shallow bowl of warm water infused with any of the above mentioned oils in it for 15 or 20 minutes a day. Other people swear by the cream on the hands before bed and then wearing soft gloves to keep the moisture in. I believe that you should try all the ways mentioned and figure out which works for you. ~ For details about the company I work with and the brand of oils I recommend, get a hold of me and we can talk in detail!
Have a great day! Jana
