A friend of mine recently asked me to write up a list of the oils with the highest amounts of Sesquiterpenes in them because she was interested in sharing the info with a friend who had a concussion. Amy knew I had a concussion in October of last year and she also knew I was using a lot of the oils and some of our supplements to support myself. After I wrote the list up I decided to share it with my Facebook group so anyone who wanted the information could have it without having to do the research themselves. If any of you would like the list, contact me and I’ll send you a copy.( type in SESQUITERPENES in the Search window on this page to find out what this is if you’re in the dark! ) ~ Another question I get a lot is about diffusing oils and how many drops is the right amount to add to the water. Good question… I find that I use about 4 to 5 drops of Lavender, On Guard, Serenity, or Balance oils when I diffuse at night, but if I’m diffusing the Breathe blend, Peppermint, Purify, or any of the stronger oils, I usually only put 2 to 3 drops of the oil in the water compartment. It’s really a personal choice and you’ll figure out what works for you as you use the oils over time. ~ A question about the oils and pets and how I know if my pet will be OK with a certain oil is I always take the cap off the bottle and let my pet smell the inside of the cap. The strength of the oil isn’t as strong that way, plus you’ll know by the dog/cat/horse, etc., what will be OK for them. Most animals love the Balance blend so that’s always an oil that I go to for calming and soothing my pets. ~ I like to keep these blogs short so if you have a question for me about anything oily, contact me and I’ll get right back to you!
Have a great day! Jana
