I got up this morning and did my usual routine…fed the animals, let them go outside, fed myself, ( yes, I am getting better at taking care of me ) and I listened to the weather report. Then I got myself caught up on emails and work stuff and then sat down to write on here. First time for me, I drew a blank. Writers block? I don’t think so. I actually have too much I want to say today. So hold on…this could get bumpy. How many of you are in that place where almost everything feels like it’s going the way it’s supposed to go? You like your job, you have close friends, your family is healthy, and you have a relationship that is close to perfect. Well, yesterday I realized that I am in a really good place and all those things I wrote about above pertain to me. And the key to having these things is having respect for all of them. I have respect for the people I am involved with in my company, I respect the products, I respect my friends and I make sure to let them know what they mean to me. I respect my health and my families health. I don’t slack off when it comes to making healthy choices anymore. ( and sure, I am bad sometimes, but I’m Human! ) And I am in a relationship where I have total respect for the person I’m involved with. How often does this happen?? I guess it boils down to making the connection to a persons total journey through their life. Maybe being able to walk in their shoes for a time…feeling the hardships, heartbreaks and joy. And being able to grasp the idea that just maybe, this was exactly the place where you needed to land…with just the right person. I don’t know about you, but I think we all hope for these things in our lives. And I know they are attainable when you just show a healthy respect for your life and everything in it. Respect and gratitude…they go hand-in-hand.
Have a great day! Jana
