Let’s talk about how you can safely use essential oils, no matter if you are an experienced user or a newbie just getting started. Pure essential oils can be very beneficial for our healthcare and wellbeing, but it’s always good to be aware of how to use them before you get started. Let’s start with children… if you are introducing your kids to doTERRA’s essential oils you have access to 7 pre-diluted oils that can be used as is on kids skin with really no concerns. But if you want to use other oils, like Marjoram oil, you’ll want to dilute the oil with a carrier oil before using topically for the best results. And if you are pregnant and are wondering which oils you can use and which oils you might want to wait on until after the baby comes, we have a whole list of those oils and applications available for you. This is a really important topic so contact me anytime for details. ~ Pets can also be supported with the oils but there are some that cats should avoid, and many that are OK to use on cats, dogs, horses, goats, etc. I’ve been sharing the best oils for animal use for years so once again, feel free to get a hold of me with questions. Cooking with essential oils can be super beneficial and this is a way I always incorporate my oils into my routine. For recipes and ideas shoot me an email! ~ Being cautious is so important and we are all different as far as how we tolerate the oils, no matter if it’s topically, internally, or aromatically. Experimenting with the oils on a small section of your skin is an easy way to know, but it never hurts to dilute the oils if you’re new to the oils all together. And if the scents of certain oils seem overly strong to you, just add 1 or 2 drops to a diffuser instead of 4 or 5. Safety comes first, so do a little research before you start your journey.
Have a great day! Jana
