Some of the most fun ideas on how to use our pure essential oils come from you and I love it. Today I want to share a DIY ( do-it-yourself ) recipe for a homemade furniture polish. When I first saw this recipe, I laughed because it looks a lot like a simple salad dressing…. you are going to need an 8oz glass spray bottle, 1/4 cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup vinegar, and 10 drops of either Lemon essential oil or Wild Orange oil. Mix together by shaking slightly and spray onto a cotton cloth or rag, then apply right over an entire wood surface. Rub in and then wipe excess away with a clean cloth. Most of the mixture will absorb into the wood so don’t worry if there is no excess. ~ This polish will keep your furniture clean and shiny for a few weeks, plus the scent will linger for days making your home smell beautiful. For other fun DIY recipes simply go to the Search window at the top right of this page and type in DIY. Everything I have written about these projects and recipes will come up for you to enjoy and use. And for details on the essential oil company I work with and the oils themselves, get a hold of me and we can talk about them. I’ll look forward to hearing from you!
Have a great day! Jana
