If you’ve been using any of doTERRA’s essential oils and products over the years you’ve probably heard of our Slim & Sassy blend that helps to naturally squash cravings for sweets and other foods that can have you ignoring the scale for weeks. This blend of oils; Grapefruit, Lemon, Peppermint, Ginger, and Cinnamon, can help to promote a healthy metabolism and can support managing hunger cravings in a gentle and flavorful way. This blend of oils, plus the other products that are in this line, are very popular because people feel good when using them. But Slim & Sassy isn’t the only option you have when it comes to cravings so let’s explore a few other choices you can look into. ~ The first one I’ll talk about is our Cassia oil which is in the Cinnamon family. I absolutely love the taste of this oil because it tastes like the flavor of a cinnamon apple pie to me. By just rubbing a tiny bit of this oil onto your finger tip and touching it to your tongue you’ll experience a burst of flavor that is like no other. But be cautious because this flavor profile is strong so you only need a tiny amount. You can also put a drop in your coffee or tea instead of a flavoring to add just the right amount of taste with no sugars needed. ~ The other three choices are our Coriander oil, Fennel, and Spearmint. All of these can be used the same way as I went over above but the Coriander has a stronger flavor that might not be the first choice for many. I always recommend putting an oil that you don’t like the taste of in a gel capsule and swallowing down with water. You will still get the desired effects but without the aftertaste. Any questions?
