Back on June 1st I wrote a blog post about the 10 top essential oils that you might want to have on hand during the Summer and some of their uses. After it posted I heard back from some people who let me know that I had left out their favorite oil so I thought I should highlight this topic again. And since today is officially the first day of Summer it’s a perfect time to support you with helpful information. Let’s take a look at the 10 oils I wrote about on the 1st:
The First List Of Ten
- Tea Tree
- Wild Orange
- On Guard Sanitizer Mist
- Deep Blue Rub
If you know anything about doTERRA’s essential oils many of these oils will be familiar to you but there might be some that aren’t. To look each one up to get more information about them simply type in each oil in the Search window here on this page and everything I’ve written about them will come up. There’s a lot of information there but feel free to contact me personally with any questions that you may have. You can reach me easily by using my contact information under my signature below.
More Summer Essential Oils
Let’s look at a few more popular essential oils that you and your family can benefit from in the Summer months. Many of these oil choices were sent in by readers because people use them a lot for support of common things that come up during this time of year. Here’s the list:
- Roman Chamomile
When you look at this list you might be wondering how these oils could support your Summer needs if you don’t have much experience with them. Just know that there are many ways to use essential oils in your daily lives. When you diffuse certain oils you can add a calming, relaxing element into your home, or it might add some uplift and natural energizing benefits when working on a project or homework. You can also use many of the oils topically to help soothe over-sunned skin, dryness, and maybe an itch. And many of our oils can be added to your drinking water to add a natural flavor boost and help to freshen your breath. And citrus oils are known for their cleansing support to the body. One of my all-time favorite ways to use 2 of our most popular oils; Lavender & Peppermint, in the Summertime is by mixing a drop of each together and rubbing over skin that has seen too much sun worshiping. This simple mixture will soothe an itch and calm the skin in a natural, gentle way that you will experience quickly.
