How many of you saw that movie, ‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding’? For those of you who did, remember how the main character’s father would spray Windex on everything as a cure-all? It was hilarious and I will never forget that. Well, recently a friend gave me a small bottle of green oil that had fancy Asian writing on the label. He told me that back in China, Japan and most other Asian countries, this oil was known as ‘The Green Elixir of Longevity’. This oil could be found in most homes and was used for everything under the sun. I did some research on it and because it has some ingredients that might be questionable to some people, I wanted to focus on a few of the essential oils and blends that the oil company I work with makes for some of the same above conditions. One of my favorite oil blends is our Soothing blend. This blend contains Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Blue Tansy, German Chamomile, Helichrysum and Osmanthus in it and it can come in handy for most any issue that needs soothing results. Our Massage blend is another popular oil blend that contains Basil, Cypress, Grapefruit, Marjoram, Lavender and Peppermint in it. This combo is very comforting to people and animals. I also recommend using Basil, Wintergreen and Rosemary essential oils as a natural alternative for certain things. If the area in question is large, add a few of the oils in our unscented body cream and massage into the area. This will benefit more area without having to use so much of the oil. – If you would like more information and details about the company and oils I work with and share, please contact me directly. Because of compliance issues we are no longer able to add this info on our websites.
Have a great day! Jana
