For the past few months everyone in the world has been wearing a mask or face covering when they go out in public. At this point most people are used to it and comply with the new, hopefully temporary ‘rules’ that are put in place. People understand that this health concern we are all facing can be serious to many so the majority of people are OK with it and don’t complain too much. But then there are the people who have respiratory concerns that make it tough to breathe through a layer of material for any length of time. There are too many different scenarios to go thru on this blog post but you all get it… you are, or may know someone who needs the easiest route to clear air and easy breathing. ~ Since I started wearing masks every day when I’m outside of my home, I have been putting a line of one of doTERRA’s essential oils on the inside of my mask so I can benefit from the oil and it’s ability to open up my airways in a natural, supportive way. The oils I usually turn to are our Breathe blend, Wintergreen, any of the citrus oils, Rosemary, and Eucalyptus, just to name a few. I personally like to use Clary Sage or Magnolia oils but you can pick your favorite scent and make your own mask experience a positive thing for you. ~ One thing I want to say is something that has been bugging me for a few weeks and since I have this platform to speak on, I’m going to. If you are out in the open air, away from others at a reasonable distance, and hiking or biking or doing whatever you do and decide to go mask-less, this is OK from what I’ve been researching. And it’s absolutely more healthy for your body than wearing a face covering. Look it up, do your own research, and figure out what’s good for you and the public in general. And if you have a compromised system, stay at home to be on the safe side.
