You don’t have to be an essential oil expert to know what this means because the term has been circulating around for years. The oil I’m talking about is Lavender and among other names for it, like the Universal Oil, this one; the Swiss Army Knife of Oils, seems to be a favorite among users. I have spotlighted Lavender oil on this blog more times than I could count and the reason for that is because it really is one of those oils that holds so many helpful applications and uses. Some people believe that Lavender oil was the first essential oil ever discovered and with hundreds of years of documentation this could be true. The reason I wanted to talk about it today was because a lot of people don’t use it internally and there are a few reasons why you might want o use it this way. ( I only recommend doTERRA’s oils to be used internally ) When you combine Lavender, Peppermint, and Lemon oils and put 2 drops each in a gel capsule and swallow, this will support seasonal targets naturally and easily. People have been using this recipe for years and now doTERRA actually offers pre-made softgels called TriEase for easy usage. Many people will put a drop or two into their tea for calming support and to add a simple, natural flavor. And many others will use Lavender oil to enhance the flavors of marinades, sauces, and recipes when cooking. And not only that, Lavender oil is popular for many other uses like most skin targets, emotional balance support, head tension, body tension, sleep support, infant and child care, supports a healthy blood pressure, relieves eye targets, soothes over-sunned skin, along with so many more uses. ~ If you’d like more information about Lavender oil, and possibly a sample, get a hold of me personally and let’s talk. I look forward to sharing with you!
Have a great day! Jana
