The things we learn through repetition… this past summer has been amazing in so many ways but it’s also been a pain-in-the-arse in one way. I have had a recurring foot injury that has kept me physically sidelined for almost the whole summer. An injury that was entirely my fault kept coming back to haunt me and even when I gave it time to heal up, it kept coming back with a vengeance. So, I have had to stay off my mountain and baby this sucker for weeks on end. Good thing the rest of my life is going well or I might have sunk into a bit of a depression. Anyway, late yesterday, for the first time in five weeks, I booted up my feet and set off up my trail. It was the best feeling because my feet felt great, even on the steep descent down. I’m so happy to share this news and I actually have a protocol to share with you in case you are experiencing anything like this yourself. ~ Because I’m working with doTERRA’s essential oils and products, I have the ability to use everything when needed. After the last injury I knew I needed to give myself a long break but I also knew I was going to have to use some of my oils daily. No more forgetting, or being too tired before bed to apply what I needed. The first thing I’ve been doing is blending 2 drops of Copaiba oil in with a dime-size dollop of our Deep Blue Rub. These 2 products are so helpful in relieving discomfort, plus they can help bring you back to a normalized state. Just massage the mixture into all the affected areas for 3 to 5 minutes and that’s your good start. I also took Frankincense and Turmeric oils in a capsule every day to help where needed internally.
