This is the time of year where most of us are celebrating Christmas, the end of the year, the beginning of a new one… but sometimes, life just has other plans. This week Heaven gained two wonderful souls who meant so much to so many. It came two days apart and the loss was like a kick in the gut to so many of us. ~ I had plans to write about another topic today but because of the monumental sadness affecting so many, I thought I’d focus on how we can find relief from emotional distress by getting out in nature, climbing mountains, kayaking bays, doing 5Ks, walking around lakes, zip lining, … whatever it takes to make you feel alive and in gratitude. Life is tough, as we all know, but it does hold more beauty in it than despair. ~ When I was young, a friend of mine lost her mother at a young age. In her wisdom, even at that age, she said that she was happy for her mom who was out of pain and in Heaven, but it didn’t take away her feelings of loss and grief. She said that death was easy for the people who die, but the people who remain here feel the feelings of missing their friends or family members every single day. This is so true, and unfortunately so many of us are traveling through these feelings right now. ~ Last night I made a steak dinner for my family. It wasn’t perfect, but we all were nourished, fed, and content. Just spending this quality time with them meant more than any other thing in my life at that moment. ~ Thanks for allowing me to express my personal feelings after a difficult week… for those of you who continue to come on and read my blog, send me an email and let me know. At the end of January, 2018, I’ll pick a lucky person to win the entire Emotional Aromatherapy Kit of 6 beautiful essential oils; worth over $200. These oils have been so beneficial for people when they are facing emotional concerns… I’d love to share them with YOU!
Warmly, Jana
