For the past many months, people all over the world have been experiencing hardships of all kinds. It’s been difficult for everyone and some of the people I talk to are hopeful that we are climbing out of the heaviness now during the end of this year. One can only hope, right? Anyway, yesterday as I was driving home from an appointment I was listening to the radio and a speaker was talking about the importance of doing at least a few things a week that make you happy. It could be anything she said. Small or large, if it eases your mind, makes you feel better, or relaxes you, you should do those things. I haven’t taken a day off since I moved last month and I made the decision that I was going to get out this weekend and go for a long hike somewhere. I need it, and hiking is my therapy… I actually feel that I NEED it to keep up with my life, and so that’s important for many reasons. If hiking isn’t your thing, maybe swimming is, or crafting; like sewing or painting. Some people like to travel, some like to do puzzles, and some people like to read. Whatever it is, if it makes you happy, you should do it. ~ I have a childhood friend who lives in Colorado and he finds his peace and happiness by rock climbing. Not hopping from rock to rock, but actual big rock climbing, like Half Dome in Yosemite National Park. Since this is the absolute last thing I would ever do, I can still appreciate this activity for him because it truly lights up his life. ~ These days it is so important to look forward to something positive so I wanted to post that I’m always open to talking to anyone who’d like more information about pure essential oils. This is another thing that brings me happiness and I know it can rub off on you!
