Yesterday I had a lot of work to do at home so I gathered up what I needed and settled into my office. About an hour in, there was all kinds of clatter and banging going on outside and it turned out my neighbor had hired some workers to tear down his back patio covering. The demolition didn’t bother me, but the noise was from one of the guys who was throwing the pieces of lumber into a trailer. I watched from my window and it seemed to me that he was trying to be loud… there was just no reason for all the noise pollution. Anyway, as I was about to go outside and ask him to be a little quieter, I got a closer look at these men and they were in their 70’s, no doubt about it. And because my mind is always ‘on’, the first thing I thought of was wondering if they had a retirement plan. Was this a labor of love for these men… working outside, hard physical labor, and bent over for most of this work. I doubted very much that this was something they wanted to do for a good time, or to pass free time. I never did go outside but once again, this got me thinking about the choices me make in life and how many of us wait until the last minute to figure out what our financial futures hold. I’ve been working on my own plan for a few years now and I can see the light at the end of my tunnel. But what about you? Do you see what’s in your future? ~ I’ve written a lot on this subject over the years and if you’re interested in reading some of it just go to the Search window at the top of this page and type in Retirement, Residual Income, Network Marketing, or Financial Freedom. You can also just contact me personally because I’d love to talk to you about what’s going on in my doTERRA world!
Have a great day! Jana
