This is a question I get asked a lot so I thought I’d talk about it today. doTERRA sources their oils from around the world, in places where the plants and trees grow the best. Climate, soil, the time of year, and regions are all important factors when you are harvesting pure essential oils and doTERRA takes this very seriously. ~ Here are all of our single oils, listed with the country they are harvested from: Arborvitae – CANADA; Cardamom – GUATAMALA; Lemon – ITALY; Roman Chamomile – USA; Siberian Fir – RUSSIA; Myrrh – ETHIOPIA; Cinnamon Bark – INDONESIA; Frankincense – SOMALIA; Clove – MADAGASCAR; Basil – USA; Eucalyptus – AUSTRALIA; Wild Orange – DOMINICAN REPUBLIC; Rose – BULGARIA; Lemongrass – INDIA; Coriander – USA; Black Pepper – INDIA; Melaleuca – AUSTRALIA; Spikenard – NEPAL; Wintergreen – NEPAL; Sandalwood – INDIA and HAWAII; Copaiba – BRAZIL; Fennel – EGYPT; Geranium – EGYPT; Jasmine – INDIA; Cassia – CHINA; Ginger – MADAGASCAR; Oregano – TURKEY; Vetiver – HAITI; Cedarwood – USA; Ylang Ylang – MADAGASCAR; Patchouli – INDONESIA; Grapefruit – USA; Cypress – GREECE; Rosemary – MORROCO; Bergamot – ITALY; Cilantro – USA; Helichrysum – FRANCE; Peppermint – USA; Juniper Berry – BULGARIA; Lime – BRAZIL; Petitgrain – PARAGUAY; Marjoram – HUNGARY; Clary Sage – USA; Lavender – FRANCE and BULGARIA; Thyme – GERMANY; Melissa – BULGARIA ~~~~~ That’s a large list and every year it grows because doTERRA is always coming out with new oils. Usually during our convention in September, doTERRA unveils a couple new single essential oils, plus a couple of new blends. Everyone in the company looks forward to that event because it always causes a lot of excitement. ~ If you’d like more info on our oils, the countries where they are grown, plus a slew of other fun facts, type in Co-Impact Sourcing in the Search window at the top of this page and everything I’ve written about it will come up. You can also type in any oil name that you might want to find out more about and just type in the name, like JASMINE. This is a great resource to have and to share!
Have a great day! Jana
