There are so many uses for all of doTERRA’s essential oils and products that I could pretty much write about them on here for years. Today I’m going to tell you about Jean, and her story about whitening her teeth by using our Wintergreen essential oil. ~ Jean drinks coffee. She drinks a lot of coffee. Because of this, she has maddening stains on her teeth that none of the store toothpastes could cut through. And she didn’t qualify for those teeth whitening blasts of light that are popular right now in dentist’s offices because of sensitivity issues. So Jean started looking into more natural ways to help her situation and she found doTERRA’s oils. By doing a little research online, she came across a story about how some people had used our Wintergreen oil by just rubbing a little bit of it over the teeth and letting it sit there for a minute or so. Jean got some of the oil and started to do this simple step, and then she’d brush her teeth like normal. After only a few days she noticed a big difference and was very pleased. Not only was it helping, but her mouth tasted fresh and clean for hours. ~ Wintergreen essential oil is also one of the oils in our On Guard Natural Whitening Toothpaste. If you happen to have red wine or coffee or tea stains on your teeth, using both of these together could offer a double whammy effect for your teeth. And they are also beneficial for gum and mouth support as well… something we all need from time to time. ~ Some of the other doTERRA oils that can help to support your mouth and gums are: Myrrh, Clove, the On Guard blend, Melaleuca, Frankincense, Copaiba, Helichrysum, and Cinnamon. If you only have one of these oils in your home, that’s a good start!
Have a great day! Jana
