I love rules and I always follow them. ~ If you believe there might be some hidden meaning in this message, you may be right. Several years ago health bloggers all over the world were targeted about the words we use when we are writing about natural options for common health issues that many people experience. We were told that we can’t use words like PAIN, CURE, TREATMENT, DIAGNOSE, etc., and we were told never to name an ailment or condition. Examples of these could be CANCER, HEADACHES, ACNE, PLANTAR FASCIITIS, NEUROPATHY, etc. I’ve been pretty good at directing people to oils and products that might support them using alternative wording, like DISCOMFORT, HEAD TENSION, REDNESS OF SKIN, etc., but today I wanted to share something that I’ve had personal experience with using the initials of the complaint that I had. So, let’s see if this blog post flies with the ‘powers that be’.
A Common Foot Target
If you look at the list above, pick out the words that start with P F. That’s what I want to talk about today. ~ Because I hike a lot and hardly ever do the stretches that I should be doing, my feet tend to complain to me a lot. They act out in ways that tell me that something might be a little more serious than just tired, sore feet, so recently when I experienced the tingling in my foot like pins & needles, and the heel discomfort, I paid attention. Reading up on this gives you all kinds of great info for stretches, fabric braces you can buy, and lots of OTC creams and pills to try. But my instincts led me to a few of doTERRA’s natural options and I wanted to share these items with you.
doTERRA For The Win
The three essential oils that I want to focus on for this common discomfort-maker are our Deep Blue oil or Rub to apply Topically over the area of concern. ( nice wording, right?! ) The next oil is our Copaiba oil which can be applied over the same area a few minutes after you apply the Deep Blue. Layering the oils is a great way to get the most benefits and your feet will thank you for it in obvious ways. The third oil to rub over the area at a different time is our Frankincense oil because the natural support it can offer the entire foot, both inside and out, is very well known to the essential oil crowd. And not only that, both Copaiba and Frankincense can be taken internally for even more body benefits.
