A couple of weeks ago I was out shopping with a friend and she was wearing a cheap pair of flip flops. Our day had us walking for several miles combined and on the way home her feet were already feeling the effects of the walking in a non-supportive shoe. I told her to come inside my house after we got back because I wanted to share some oils with her that I knew would soothe her feet and have her feeling better quickly. I shared with her the Copaiba oil and the Deep Blue oil, telling her to layer them over the entire bottoms of her feet in a massage-like manner. Both of these oils work really well together by calming any soreness and helping with inflammation. I use this combo all the time after I hike and I never have any troubles afterward. ~ Another thing I like to do is rub Peppermint oil over my feet before I put on my socks and shoes to go out hiking, or if I know I’m going to have a long day on my feet. Peppermint is a cooling oil and it is an amazing, natural, discomfort-eraser. This is my go-to ritual but there are other oils in the doTERRA line that are also great for helping to support and soothe your feet. Our AromaTouch Massage Blend, our Basil oil, and the Cypress oil work well to calm your feet when overworked, plus, they stimulate circulation for a very positive reaction after a long day. ~ Some people like to use the citrus oils on their feet, like Lemongrass, Grapefruit, Bergamot, Green Mandarin, Tangerine, Lemon, or Lime. All of these oils have a supportive effect for the feet so even if you only have one of these, use the one you have.
Have a great day! Jana
